Sprinted to the beach for a late evening sail. The water looked like 6.5m weather but experience old me to rig big in an easterly so opted for my 7.8m. Very well powered up port tack sailing. Not very taxing, but fast and fun enough to belt up to Cooden and enjoy a massive downwind blast back. Lots of playing in the low tide shorebreak and general pleasant high speed cruising. Very satisfying day. Need to adjust my footstraps though as I've worked out that with a big fin, I just don't have the leverage on the rail to keep the board flat - the result is agonising shins today.
